We are making our own African drums
We are covering buckets with paper mache and then painting our African designs on them

Carl from 'The Edge' radio station came to speak to us today
He told us all about his job and the famous people he has met. He also brought some of his recording equipment with him and made a movie trailer using some of our voices.
The movie is about the monster that lives under Glenavon School.
It will go on the blog as soon as he sends it through.

A special guest all the way from Uganda
We had the amazing chance to hear David Livingston share with us today!
David has an amazing story about escaping from the rebel army in Uganda. He now works in education, building schools and creating a way for young people in Uganda to succeed.

Today in maths we were drawing and measuring our class
We also had a go at estimating different objects around the school.
We estimated that the netball court is 27m long... it came to 30m when we measured it! We were close.
