Here's a breakdown of the data we collected from market week
We now have to decide how we will spend our profit!
Science experiment number two
This experiment was with skittles and water. We wanted to find out what would happen if we left skittles in water for 5 minutes. This experiment helped us to understand what happens in our body when we eat foods like this.
If you look closely at the photo you can see the S from the skittle has come off and is floating in the water - this is because the S is made from wax and stays together.

Science experiment Monday's
Today we were learning about salt and what will happen if we leave a piece of string in salt water for one week... I guess we will have to wait and see... Watch this space!

Market day.
We had a successful day today in our shop! We sold out at morning tea and continued to sell more at lunch time.
Overall our total income for the day was $202.70.
We were able to reflect upon what work well and what didn't work so well...
We put our success down to the amount of effort we put into advertising our shop.
We did have some feed back from a few people saying that we might have put too much onion in the guacamole... Oops!
Well done everyone in room 3 for your efforts today!

Market week coming up in week 6
We are running a market week next week selling healthy food snacks. Remember to research your ideas tonight and bring them to class tomorrow. Our goal is to promote the idea that healthy snacks can be YUM and are so much better for your body than junk food.
